Synthesis BU: uses a large range of chemical synthesis and purification technologies to develop and produce high value-adding active ingredients and advanced intermediates for the pharmaceutical, crop science and other fine chemical industries.
Biopharma BU: supplies upstream and downstream contract manufacturing services to the biopharma industry. It produces innovative purification equipment and systems, with optimized processes, for the biopharmaceutical and fine chemical industries, including the pharmaceutical industry.
Industrial Biotech BU: designs and develops high performance purification processes and industrial systems. It serves the food, functional and bioindustrial ingredients’ industries. This BU also provides contract purification services for functional ingredients.

The company has six FDA inspected manufacturing plants in France, Germany and the Bahamas; two biopharmaceutical production sites in Belgium; R&D and equipment manufacturing facilities in the USA, China and France; as well as an office in Japan. Our facilities are further described here.
Novasep employs approximately 1,200 people and had annual revenues of 295 million Euros in 2011. More than 2,000 systems designed and produced by Novasep are currently purifying active molecules throughout the world. The company holds approximately 200 different patents covering its technologies and processes.
