The Novasep site in Pompey is the design and production center for purification and separation equipment and turnkey plants, from lab to industrial scale.

Another main activity on site is purification process development and optimization services, for both synthetic molecules (fine chemicals, advanced intermediates and APIs) and biopharmaceuticals.

The site is also equipped with two industrial scale purification plants: a multipurpose chromatographic facility and a complete downstream processing facility for biopharmaceuticals.

Overview

Novasep Process SAS in Pompey offers a total site area of 7 hectares and 7,280 m² of offices, laboratories, purification areas and assembly/test areas.

The site consists of 4 buildings, one being dedicated to biopharmaceutical production.

Equipment & Capabilities

Equipment assembly building

The 1400 m² of the equipment assembly building are dedicated to the manufacture of preparative chromatography systems as well as filtration systems.

Multipurpose purification facility

The multipurpose purification facility consists of:

• 400 m² of R&D and pilot lab dedicated to purification process development as well as QC laboratories.
• 1400 m² of cGMP, FDA-inspected production area equipped with state-of-the-art process scale chromatography systems for contract purification services: one Varicol 6x200; one Varicol 6x300; two Hipersep equipped with Prochrom DAC columns ranging from 200 mm to 450 mm i.d.; solvent recycling and drying capabilities.

Contract Manufacturing Facilities for Biopharmaceutical Production

Novasep building overview

The Stanislas building is dedicated to biopharmaceutical purification and production. With this recent construction that was completed in only 2 years, Novasep Process provides global and cost-effective solutions integrating our customers' very specific requirements and stringent timelines.

The building consists of:

• 1500 m² of cGMP production and warehouse, 1000 m² , class C
• 80 m² of cGMP labs, class C
• Utilities and offices
• Space available for further expansion

Quality

The plant operates in full cGMP and was inspected in 2005 by the AFFSAPS, the French pharmaceutical regulatory body, and by the FDA (No form 483 issued).

Access to Novasep Eiffel site:

The site is located 100 km from Luxembourg airport (1 hr drive), 340 km from Brussels , 350 km from Frankfurt, 350 km from Paris and 400 km from Lyon .
It is very easy to access from highway A31. Driving North or South, exit at Pompey / Custines (Exit 24).
