Degreasing

Before being painted, parts must first be cleaned. This process requires large quantities of water and degreasing agents and this generates substantial volumes of oily waste water.
Non-regenerated degreasing bath causes technical problems (poor parts quality) and raises environmental concerns (generation of high effluent volume).

 

They also increase costs because the contaminated effluent has to be disposed of and the degreasing agents consume large quantities of water.

With Applexion ultrafiltration solutions, you can:

  • Recycle degreasing baths without interrupting production, while maintaining degreasing process quality or produce continuously, while maintaining constant degreasing process quality.
  • Concentrate solutions to reduce effluent volume
  • Recycle the degreasing solutions to save water and products and reduce waste

Case studies: degreasing bath
The example shows a degreasing bath treatment system with a capacity to handle 1,500 m3 per hour of metal parts coated with 2 g/m3 of oil.
