Natural Biomolecule Applications: Plant Extract

Plant Extracts Because the nutraceutical, cosmetic or pharmaceutical markets are using more and more biovegetal products and requesting purer products, Novasep Process's target is to always improve plant extract purification processes. Novasep Process has the know-how and technologies (membranes, chromatography, adsorption, enzymatic reactions) to develop specific purification processes. These new processes, whether applied on polyphenols or antocyane extraction, strive on reducing effluents production while increasing purity of the products.

Our Bioprocess center based in Brabois (near Nancy) has a wide range of pilot equipment and the capability to meet your needs in piloting and testing.

 

Polyphenols
Analytic methods on polyphenols are also available in our Bioprocess Center in Brabois. We have identified several kind of adsorbants for polyphenols that allows us to work on very complex extractions or identify specific molecules in complex mixtures.

Applexion's know-how on sugar and oligosaccharides chromatography is also used to develop polyphenols separation.

Anthocyanes
Within Novasep Process, Applexion has several chromatography and adsorption processes units based on organic resins for compounds such as anthocyanes, flavonoïds, riboflavine. Moreover, it has supplied numerous decolourisation systems using ion exchange resins or activated carbon for the food industry (cane sugar, beverages, bulk pharmaceuticals...)
