Original Applexion® Processes Offer:

  • Enzymatic conversion: Specification of the best enzymes for purification steps: liquefaction, saccharification, isomerisation.
  • Microfiltration UF: Clarification of juice by Cross-Flow filtration (with Applexion ceramic membranes) which eliminates filtering aids and reduces effluent production and manpower. It also improves the quality of the filtration, thus reducing the cost of downstream refining.
  • Ion exchange/demineralization: Demineralization and decolorization of syrups which prevent sugar loss and provide lower chemical, water and resin consumption.
  • Chromatography: Unique separation of glucose and fructose by the original Applexion® Sequential Simulated Moving Bed. This system using continuous chromatography separation provides lower elution, water and resin requirements and increases glucose/fructose fraction purities. It can also be used for other separations: enrichment of maltose, polyols separation...
