Preparative Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC): Supersep MAX™

Supersep Max™, is an innovative two-column process that dramatically increases the productivity of chiral separations and enhances the yield for difficult SFC separations.

With Supersep Max™, the single packed column is replaced by two short columns.

The amount of stationary phase remains the same, but productivity is increased by up to 5-fold for poorly resolved racemates. With Supersep Max™, pure fractions are collected as they elute from each column. Fresh racemate is periodically added to the non-resolved mixture, which re-circulates in a loop through both columns.

Supersep Max™ saves time and money compared to traditional preparative SFC.
