The Supersep™ line is the result of Novasep engineers' knowledge of Supercritical Fluid and High Performance Preparative Liquid Chromatography, combined with innovative technical solutions to handle supercritical fluids to recover efficiently the purified materials and providing a fully automated and safe technology.
Supersep™ units are the green technology solution for laboratory scale purification of chiral compounds and complex mixtures, from g/day to 10's of kg campaigns. They are the answer to medicinal and chemical development chemists' look for to purify molecules.

Supersep™ 30 - 50 unit

Supersep™ 50-60 unit
In order to increase the productivity of chiral separations and enhance the yield of difficult separations, Novasep has developped Supersep Max™, an innovative two-column SFC process.
Discover Supersep Max™
The Supersep™ units are designed to work at elevated pressures (250 bar - 3,600 psi) and temperatures (60°C). Important process control and safety elements are installed on the units such as heat exchangers, pressure regulators, rupture discs, check-valves, etc. In addition, the control software monitors the proper and safe operation at many locations in the flow path.
Polarity of the eluent can be modified by mixing co-solvent with CO2 , in any proportions. Isocratic elutions, as well as pressure or co-solvent gradients can be programmed in operating recipes.
Prochrom® DAC columns:
For optimum performance, specially adapted Prochrom® DAC columns are used to provide efficient, stable and scalable processes. The columns, rated at up to 300 bar (4,350 psi) are designed to prevent damage to the packing material at the high SFC operating pressures. Even fragile media such as some chiral stationary phases made with wide pore silicas can be utilised.
