Site description

Overview

Finorga offers much more than its two multipurpose cGMP 370 m3 production sites: as a long term reliable source for industrial production of advanced intermediates and APIs, volumes rank from 5 kg to multi-hundred tons per year.

Pilot Units
Chasse-sur-Rhône versatile pilot plant provides for process scale-ups, the supply of clinical batches and routine produce of low volume compounds under cGMP.

Equipped with all utilities (low/high temperature, hydrogenation, distillation.) and equipments (reactors from 100l to 1,000l, clean rooms.), the pilot plant is the perfect example of the production organization that makes for the ideal smooth transition between lab and industrial scale.
Batch size of finished products may vary between 5 to 100 kg involving several stages of chemical synthesis.

To support the chromatography technique development, the pilot is equipped to scale-up processes on its two state-of-the-art 50 and 200 mm diameter Multi-Column Chromatography machines (also known as MCC, SMB, Varicol® processes).
