Hydrazine and Hydrazine derivatives are handled on large scale (>100 mt). These reagents give access to a variety of 1,2-diazatype heterocycles as well as to thiosemicarbazides and azo compounds.

Mitsunobu reaction

The Mitsunobu Reaction is a very mild method for dehydrations with mixtures of azodicarboxylic esters/amides and triphenylphosphine (TPP) or phosphite. While the intermolecular dehydration leads to esters, ethers, thioethers and isothiocyanates, the intramolecular variant gives access to lactones and lactames.
