Sius™ is the first TFF cassette purpose-built for single-use with the pricing to prove it!. Sius™ cassettes demonstrate superior performance compared with reusable industry standards at a fraction of the cost.

Combining both Sius™ cassettes and the Sius™ FPI enables a complete disposable system for tangential flow filtration, saving even more time and money due to minimum preparation and cleaning.

Sius™ cassettes are pre-sanitized and their reproducibility is guaranteed by individual testing. Using disposable Sius™ is safe, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.

Sius™ cassettes offer a very cost-competitive alternative to reusable TFF cassettes, especially for R&D to clinical scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Furthermore, Sius™ cassettes incorporate the same Hystream™ and Prostream™ membrane chemistries and materials as our Novaset™ reusable cassettes. Our customers can, therefore, switch to a reusable strategy for large scale manufacturing with only minimal regulatory requirements.

A large range of cut-offs are available for ultrafiltration and microfiltration.

Membranes evaluated:
Novasep cassettes are Sius™ cassettes, 92.8 cm² surface area, 50 kD MWCO, PES material, protein loaded 307 g/m² and cross-flow rates (mL/min) 60,70,80.
All competitors’ PES cassettes have 50 kD MWCO and a surface area from 88 to 100 cm².

Cleaning Validation Made Easier

With no need to flush or measure water permeability rates, Sius™ cassettes reduce the testing, integration time and resources to perform these steps. All cassettes are pre-sanitized, ready to be installed and used in processing after equilibration with buffer. With no need for membrane cleaning and measurement of water flux recovery, using Sius™ in single-use TFF operations will minimize cleaning and any cross-contamination risks.

Disposable Sius™ Cassettes - Product Line

Sius™ cassettes have been designed to offer performance that is comparable to reusable products at a fraction of the cost. Each cassette arrives pre-sanitized, ready to be equilibrated with buffer and used for processing. Sius™ cassettes are available in a range of product surface areas from 0.01m² to 5 m². These cassettes have been developed using an innovative manufacturing approach that provides an efficient production process, yielding a single-use cassette which costs significantly less than a comparably sized reusable product.

Most important of all, the cassettes are completely interchangeable with existing cassette hardware making them an ideal choice for many TFF processes.
