Applexion® NAP is an innovative process using membrane filtration technologies allowing production of refined sugar directly at the mill.

Considering that 80% of the saccharose produced worldwide is from cane, the Applexion® NAP enables production of refined sugar directly at the mill and represents significant savings in capital and operating costs by combining two factories (mill and refinery) into one.

In combination with cane juice deliming and crystallization, microfiltration of clarified juice produces "NAP sugar" with better characteristics than conventional sugar: 40% less color, 55% less ash, and 20% higher crystallization speed.

This sugar can easily be transformed into refined sugar directly at the mill.
