Because the main application of ion exchange resins in the beet sugar industry is for thin juice deliming / softening and the main resin used for this application is a strong acid cation exchange resin (SAC), we have developed Applexion® NRS, an innovative process using ion exchange separation for cost-efficient softening in sugar factories.

We have commercialized over 100 systems over the past 20 years. This proven high performance process is environment-friendly since no dilution is needed; there is no sugar loss or waste. This process is very flexible, consumes no acid and no additional water.

We also design, build and sell optimized Applexion® SSMB (Sequential Simulated Moving Bed), an innovative low pressure chromatography using ion exchange/adsorption technologies.
