Chromatographic purification process development

We have set up a highly efficient methodology to develop robust processes and provide you with appropriate, cost-effective solutions in the minimum amount of time.

The development of a chromatographic step is quick and straightforward using Novasep HPLC technologies; its scale-up is linear and its feasibility and cost are assessed after only a couple of weeks. Moreover, depending on your sourcing strategy, we can either develop your chromatography process, purify your API at any scale or supply you with the chromatography system that best suits your separation.

Peptide concentration, desalting and salt exchange

Beyond chromatography purification steps, Novasep can develop your peptide desalting, salt exchange and concentration steps. We can investigate multiple alternatives and choose the most appropriate technology or combination of techniques, including:

• Reversed phase adsorption/desorption – this generally allows one to use the same HPLC system and stationary phase as for the peptide purification, to exchange the salt and to elute the concentrated peptide in its final form,
• Ion exchange chromatography – this can generally be performed using Novasep’s high performance low pressure chromatography systems and columns based on the DAC technology,
• Ultrafiltration and diafiltration, typically using polymeric Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) membranes and systems.
