A new process derived from the Simulated Moving Bed technology, Varicol® is the state-of-the-art in a continuous process for the separation of binary mixtures. Efficient and integrated solvent recovery and recycling concur to lower operational costs and minimize solvent consumption.

 

Varicol® 6 x 1000 mm

Designed to be an integrated continuous operation, Varicol® systems include an eluent evaporation unit with automated solvent recycling capability along with a dedicated product dryer. When you get to commercial scale, your dry racemic mixture is fed into the systems and purified enantiomer is removed from the dryer.
