Modelling tools for the optimal design of a chromatographic process
The availability of a simulation package that allows to model chromatographic systems and therefore to reduce the time required to optimise a separation is of considerable interest. To address this problem, Novasep SAS has developed fast, reliable, rugged and user-friendly modelling tools.
The simulation of a chromatographic process requires a deep insight into the parameters that govern the process. Novasep SAS simulation and optimisation software Helpchrom makes it possible to characterize the physico-chemical parameters of the chromatographic system with an optimised number of experiments at a laboratory scale.

Information on Helpchrom
HelpChrom® is the result of years of research and experience of Novasep in all fields of chromatography. It is a very powerful software able to predict, simulate, optimise or troubleshoot most chromatographic processes.
| Helpchrom allows one to perform the optimal design of new systems, or identify the optimal operating conditions of existing systems. Using both theoretical and practical sense, our experts have been able to developed fast optimisation tools adapted for each process. Provided economical data is available, the optimisation can also address the cost of the process. An example is given showing, for a given application, how the purification cost changes with the cycle duration, the column length and the injected quantity, for a batch process. |
